Jasmine Williams is a textile designer and writer currently located in Brooklyn, NY. After studying fashion design at Pratt Institute she transferred to California College of the Arts to receive an education in all things fabric. At CCA, she graduated with a BFA in Textiles and a minor in Visual Studies. In 2015 she moved back to the East coast to bring her colorful artistic vision to New York City. She is especially interested in the divisions and crossings of art, craft, and design, as well as the interplay between the analog and the digital. She uses textiles to explore these malleable boundaries.

Jasmine currently works as head journalist and copy editor at The Untitled Magazine and is also a freelance textile and props designer. She has worked at Gunny & Galloon Textile Design Studio and has acted as lead consultant in the execution of an in-house screen-printing studio for advertising agency, Figliulo & Partners. Her unique textile and writing abilities combined with her knowledge of pop culture, fashion, and art history have granted her a distinct skill set and make her a valuable asset to any creative company.
